24/7 Organic Sensitive is developed with one goal in mind – to have as few ingredients and active substances as possible without compromising quality. Organic Sensitive is equally suitable for adults with sensitive skin as well as for babies and children.
What Can Fragrance-Free Cosmetics Do for Your Skin?
When I (Johan) and Anna-Lena, the founders of c/o Gerd, received an email from one of our customers, we felt that something had to be done. We had one (1) fragrance-free product in our range – many parents with babies bought it and used it as an all-round product.
The email we received was from a woman with severe eczema on her hands who had tried everything. From the strongest prescription medications to home remedies and salon treatments. Her life was negatively affected as she worked in home care where hand hygiene is extremely important. She had met Anna-Lena at the Allt för Hälsan fair in Stockholm where she received advice on what she could do. After following the advice, fully aware that it was NOT a medical treatment but a soothing and natural cosmetic treatment, she finally achieved the effect she wanted. She was freed from her eczema.
What did she do, you might wonder? Well, at that time we had a product called Baby Balm which contains 100% organic ingredients in its formula. She used it by applying it thoroughly to her hands and then putting on a pair of cotton gloves. Already after two weeks, she achieved results and now only needs to maintain this treatment once a month.
With this email and the constant inquiries on our customer email and social media, we decided to create a series with as few ingredients as possible, no fragrances, and no active substances. It was to be unisex for both men and women and suitable for even the smallest ones.
We named the series 24/7 Series and it has since evolved to include:
- 24/7 Skin Balm – formerly known as Baby Balm. Used on dry skin, eczema rashes, and flexural eczema.
- 24/7 Shampoo & Body Shower – for all hair and body types, including babies and children.
- 24/7 Body Lotion – richly moisturizing lotion for all skin types, including babies and children.
- 24/7 Deodorant – Aluminum-free deodorant.
- 24/7 Skin Oil – used as a body oil for adults, children, and babies.
- Pure Jojoba Oil – For face and body. A wonderful oil that suits most skin types.
During the process, we learned that in Sweden alone, 33% of people have some degree of fragrance sensitivity, from severe to mild. Our 24/7 series for fragrance-sensitive individuals is highly appreciated, and we hope that you who try it will enjoy it and find relief.
Finally, let us be clear. This is cosmetics and NOT medicine – but oh, how our skin sometimes needs pure products free from drying fragrances, SLS, synthetics, acids, or silicones.
