According to the Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association, approximately 30–33 percent of the Swedish population has some form of fragrance sensitivity. For many, being constantly exposed to fragrances in stores, at work or in social settings can be limiting in everyday life. Symptoms such as headaches, nausea and skin reactions are common.
For those who are not sensitive themselves, it is easy to take scented products for granted. It is precisely this insight that has been a driving force in our work. We want to create skincare that works for more people – even for those with extra sensitive skin or fragrance sensitivity.
In 2021, the Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association recognized our work by awarding our 24/7 Sensitive series the diploma for Allergy Initiative of the Year. A recognition that makes us incredibly proud and strengthens us in our continued work for more inclusive skincare.
Developed for the most sensitive
Many people come to us when they are looking for organic baby products. Little babies need care from the very beginning, and their skin requires gentle care from an early age.
A recurring question we get is whether our baby oil is free of mineral oil . The answer is yes. Mineral oil is a residual product from crude oil, and despite this, there are still manufacturers who use products with a very high percentage of mineral oil in their baby products.
If you are unsure what your baby oil contains, you can look at the INCI list on the back. Ingredients such as paraffin, paraffinum liquidum, vaseline, medical white oil, mineral oil, paraffin oil, liquid paraffin or petrolatum are different names for mineral oil.
When we developed our fragrance-free, organic products, we had two target groups in mind:

The 24/7 Sensitive Series is born - When a customer made a difference
When Johan and Anna-Lena, who founded c/o GERD, received an email from a customer, they immediately felt: no, we have to do something about this.
At the time, we only had one fragrance-free product in our range. It was often purchased by parents of young children who used it as an all-round product for their babies.
The email came from a woman with severe eczema on her hands. She had tried everything – without getting any real help.
